O MISTRI operates as an independent matching marketplace and does not act as a civil construction contractor, architectural firm, or master employer.
2. Partner Verification & Due Diligence
While O MISTRI takes rigorous steps to verify the physical identity, government ID credentials (Aadhaar Card, PAN Card), and local residential references of all registered artisans, we strongly advise customers to:
- Ensure safe custody of personal belongings, jewelry, and cash during domestic maintenance visits.
- Directly inspect and test any technical work (such as wiring load testing or plumbing pressure checks) in the presence of the artisan before final sign-off.
3. Raw Materials, Spare Parts & Hardware Purchases
Notice Regarding Materials:
Any spare parts, electrical wires, pipes, motors, cements, or paint purchased from local hardware shops for maintenance work are selected and bought at the mutual discretion of the customer and the artisan. O MISTRI does not manufacture spare parts and is not liable for manufacturing defects of third-party goods.
4. External Delays & Force Majeure
O MISTRI and its partner artisans are not responsible for delays caused by extreme weather conditions, road closures, power grid failures, rural connectivity loss, or unforeseen force majeure events beyond reasonable control.
